Personal History
Mrs. Beason, formerly Rebecca N. Pfenning, is a native of Kiowa County, Oklahoma and a graduate of Hobart High School.
During high school and college Mrs. Beason was active in 4-H Club and in the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Rebecca has proudly served as a former Oklahoma state officer of the FFA.
Mrs. Beason was active in livestock shows ... showing lambs and steers. She has received numerous awards for her animlas as well as showmanship, including the award of "Grand Champion" at the Tulsa State Fair.
Undergraduate Education
Rebecca was a "top ten" graduating senior at Oklahoma State University (OSU) in Stillwater, Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in the study of Political Science.
Extracurricular Activities
Rebecca is an alumni of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She is a former President of the Jackson County Bar Association and a member in "good standing" of the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Community Involvement
Rebecca is involved in several civic organizations in the community, including a prominent, international woman's organization.
Mrs. Beason has also participated, for the past two (2) years, in a local spelling bee which serves the purpose of raising monies to fund the Literacy Council to combat illiteracy in adults and juveniles. Mrs. Beason provides pro bono (no fee involved) services to the community through the Beason Law Firm, P.L.L.C. on a discretionary basis.
Graduate Education
Mrs. Beason is a proud recipient of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist Univeristy in Dallas, Texas.

Legal Experience
Mrs. Beason is admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and in the United States District Court, the Western District of Oklahoma.
Rebecca previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for Oklahoma Judicial District III. Mrs. Beason had numerous trials as an assistant district attorney. Such criminal trials included, but are not limited to: (a) murder, (b) child abuse, (c) manufacture of methamphetamine, (d) distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, and (e) shooting with intent to kill.
Mrs. Beason entered private practice in 2003 and opened the Beason Law Firm, P.L.L.C. She currently serves clients in a variety of cases in the areas of family law, adoption, guardianship, dissolution/divorce, business formation, criminal defense, civil litigation and criminal defense litgation, wills, trusts and probate.
